Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry has achieved historical success in the export sector in FY 2025.
Thanks to the SIFC, the country’s pharmaceutical exports have reached $ 457 million, which is a strong step towards self -cradle.
It was recorded at $ 909 million, the export of medical products, including the financial year, medicine, surgical, nutritional supplements and medical equipment.
According to the chairman of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, in the financial year 2025, the government’s policy policy has seen a 34 % increase in drug prices.
Chairman PPMA said that the pricing policy policy of the government is in line with international standards, which have increased investment and production.
Currently, Afghanistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Iraq are among the leading buyers of Pakistani drugs, while Kenya, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand are also providing significant export opportunities.
According to officials, Pakistani pharma exports are expected to reach $ 1.5 trillion in the global pharma market by 2030, while the country’s pharma companies will have a 5 to 7 percent revenue from Asian and African market exports, which will play an important role in stabilizing the economy and promoting exports.
