The Olympic and Para Olympic Committee of the United States has decided to prevent trans gender players from participating in women’s game.
The step was taken under the executive order of President Donald Trump, stating that men should be prevented from participating in women’s game so that Trans gender athletes could not participate in women’s game.
A statement issued by the American Olympic Committee said that this executive order 14201 and Ted Stevens Olympics and Aquarius Sports Act will continue to monitor and cooperate with various stakeholders to ensure a safe and fair competition environment for women players.
It should be noted that President Trump signed the order in February this year, under which he announced that Trans Linga players would not be allowed to attend the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.
The order issued by the Trump administration has directed all government agencies, including the Department of Justice, to ensure that the trans gender and women do not participate in women’s games at school level and the ban can be effectively implemented.
The decision is part of a debate in the United States that expresses the participation of Trans Gender Athletes in women’s sports and this step is being presented as providing equal opportunities for competition in women’s game.
