This week, I am tearing through an upgraded copy of waking up, an upcoming memoir of Jane Hatmaker (23 September) (23 September) to wake up one night and listen to my husband on the phone, whispered someone else with sweet notes. That page is one. The rest of the book is as what happens next, and it is a wild ride.

But here is the part that I want to share today: during treatment, Jane’s fret about her children, when her doctor suggested, “Why don’t you spend some energy -giving maternal?” When Jane feels confused-active, she is constantly examining things from her two-two list-her doctor asks, “Jane, what will a good mother do here?”

Suddenly, the answer is clear: “Ask me to drink more water and leave Facebook,” she answers.

Over the next few weeks, Jane said in the idea of his own care, “Not like a teacher like a teacher, not like a teacher, like a preacher, such as a coach to a coach like a coach hipling play calls … but like a mother, like a mother, takes care of her beloved’s small heart and body and feelings as if they mean more at the rate of work.”

During the difficult times, how are you parents yourself? Keep yourself on bed quickly? Watch a rest movie? Reach the loved ones? Sometimes, if I lay down on the bed and beating myself to do something that I want to do separately – say, a work assignment or conversation with my children – I will tell myself simple phrases: “I am learning.” For me, there is a relief to accept that I do not do everything completely, I make mistakes, and that’s fine! We all work on progress; The best we can expect and try for it to always grow and learn. And, maybe, to drink more water.
