Hotels swept away in flood rally in India, four deaths, 100 missing: Minister of State

A severe flood led to a serious flood in Dharlai, a high hill village in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand district, which, according to local people, damaged many houses. Many houses were washed away in high flow of water.

Senior local officer Prashant Arya said that four people have died, other officials warned that the number may increase.

The Indian Army says that 150 soldiers have reached the city, which has helped to save about 20 people who survived the mud wall.

The army said, “A large amount of soil collided with a rally … due to which there was a sudden flow of debris and water in the slum.”

Chief Minister Dhammi said that the flood was suddenly and serious due to the ‘cloud explosion’, which calls the devastation ‘very tragic and disturbing’.

The Indian Meteorological Department issued a red warning for the region, stating that it recorded a ‘extremely heavy’ rainfall of about 21 cm in different parts of Uttarakhand.

From June to September, the monsoon season is common for life -flooding and land slip, but experts say that climate change, along with civilization, their frequency and intensity are increasing.

The United Nations World Meteorological Organization said last year that the upcoming climate change planet makes the aquatic cycle more unpredictable.
