Kohat, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) An important Grand Jirga meeting was called at the Commissioner’s Office on Saturday under the chairmanship of Commissioner Matasim Bilah Shah.
The meeting brought together the elders, tribal leaders, and senior divisional officials of the division, including condemning the Kohat peace agreement and implementing law and order to discharge major issues.
On this occasion, the Commissioner emphasized the important role of stakeholders in the establishment of peace and stability, highlighting the importance of Kohat Shanti Accord in promoting a peaceful environment.
The participants also expressed their loss to stand up by the Pakistan Army, Police and Civil Administration to maintain peace in the region.
He played to support peace effects and play a full role in promoting national unity.
The meeting also discussed plans for Independence Day and “Truth of Truth” celebrations, which paid attention to showing Patotism and unity.
The Commissioner announced to celebrate the entire participation as a national duty in Independence Day, which emphasized the impression of showing love and unity for Pakistan. Sugars were made to promote patriotism through the flag hoisting, poem repetition, climate committee and national song programs. The meeting concluded with a comment to work together to promote peace, stability and national unity in the region.
