Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th July, 2025) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday participated in a farewell lunch held in honor of the outgoing Austrian Ambassador of Pakistan, Andrea Vicky on Sunday.
Conducted by Qaiser Nawaz and Sardar Wakar Shahzad, the program brought together the memors of diplomatic core, senior media professionals and other distracted guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Qaisar Nawaz praised a strong lawyer for women empowerment and Ambassador Wikk as a role model for youth in Pakistan.
He blamed Austria’s creative role in international diplomacy and shared his reflection on Salzberg and Vienna on his individuals by creating a cultural relationship with his beautiful Swat Valley of Pakistani.
He extended an inauguration to the ambassador to find out the region.
Sardar Waqar Shehzad highlighted the ambassador’s efforts in promoting bilateral relations between Pakistan and Austria.
He appreciated his contribution in increasing mutual cooperation and hoped that he would return to Pakistan in future, spying to visit SWAT.
Lunch was attached by many high-revolutionary dignitaries, in which Wada Mitsuhiro, Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr.
Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines, Dr. Zuheyar Zaid, Palestine Ambassador, US Embassy Diplomat, former federal minister and senior journalist.
In his farewell comments, Ambassador Andrea Vicky expressed his deep praise for the hospitality obtained during his tenure.
He recalled his visits to various cities, bent Peshawar, and said that the lively culture and warmadath of the city had left a permanent impression on it.
Addressing the gathering, Faisal Karim Karim Kundi of the government greeted Ambassador Vickke in his future diplomatic assignment.
He also thanked him for recognizing the rich heritage and hospitality of Peshawar. Emphasizing the ability of the province, the governor underlined the importance of showing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the international community to attract foreign investment, promote tourism and promote opportunities in education and employment for youth.
He encouraged more members of the diplomatic community to travel to Khyber Paktankahwa and detect the path for bilateral and multilateral collaboleability.
The event was concluded at a knot of goodwill, in which the participants calculated the positive heritage of the ambassador in the Pakistan-Austria relations.
