Gilgit -Baltistan floods killed 9 people, including two women and two children, and more than a dozen people were injured.

Spokesperson Faizullah Farak said that the number of missing persons could be 10 to 12, while more than 500 houses were destroyed by floods, more than 12 km of roads were destroyed.

Faizullah Farak said that 27 bridges and 22 vehicles have been flooded across the province, many shops and livestock shops have been destroyed and have been swept away with thousands of feet wood trains.

He said that Diyar district caused the most financial loss, more than 300 stranded passengers and tourists were rescued. The Pak Army participated in rescue and search operation, GB scouts personnel also participated in rescue operations and rescue operations.

Faizullah Farak said that search operations for the discovery of missing persons are still going on. Water flows and sliding are going on in various regions of the province, which are facing difficulties in search operations. Due to increasing water flow, roads are also facing difficulties.

The spokesperson clarified that relief operations are going on while work is going on to restore water and electricity. The provincial government will not leave the flood alone alone.
