Free surgical eye and medical camp successfully concluded with widespread praise

Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News -27th July 2025) The National Press Club (NPC), Al -Shifa Trust I Hospital, Rawalpindi and Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) were accomplished with the entirety of members and their families.

The camp offered free eye examination, medicines, glasses, laboratory services and laser surgery for media workers, which suffer from whites.

There was a station on the site to increase the access to a mobile van facility equipped with modern medical institutions.

The members and their families are thanked for the introduction of both Camps, NPC leadership, President Azhar Jetoi, Secretary Nair Ali, Finance Secretary Waqar Abbasi and others for starting both the camps, Pakistan Fedle Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Afzal Butt.

Many characteristics fulfilled the continuity of such welfare initiatives in the future.

Addressing the occasion, Rahmat Khan, president of the Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, highlighted the increasing number of cases of blindness in the country.

He advised to take precautions for the use of eye and medicine, focusing on regular eye tests for any related dishes.

Dr. Hyder Wajid Abbasi and Dr. Ifatikhar Burney underlined the causes, symptoms, precautions and media of Peema about Hepatitis B and C, stating that this diasis is caused by the virus transmitted through the blood. The virus attacks the liver and gradually neutralizes it.

He also revealed that a thirty-final million people in the world were affected by Hepatitis. A large number of people lost their lives. Pakistan was also at the top of patients suffering from Hepatitis B and C.

He highlighted Peema’s efforts in public awareness, early diagnosis, medical personnel training and effectively fighting the disease.

The two -day free surgical eye camp was from 26 July to 26 July, which was set up on 27 July for media hepatitis screening.
