Paris:
France has decided to identify the Palestinian state by making significant progress towards peace in the Middle East.
French President Emmanuel Macron formally announced a decision in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in September.
In a letter to Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas, which was shared on social media, the French President made it clear that the establishment of Palestine is necessary to achieve permanent and fair peace.
Macron said that France would recognize the Palestinian state on the basis of this historical and royal status.
According to its history for a justified and permanent peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France would recognize the state of Palestine.

President Macron said that the Middle East is currently in dire need of immediate ceasefire, the release of all the hostages and the people of Gaza massive human assistance to the people of Gaza.
He said that the disarmament of Hamas, securing Gaza and its reconstruction, as well as the establishment of the Palestinian kingdom, can only guarantee the long peace of the region.
The French President said that the French people want peace in the Middle East, and it is time to prove that peace with European and International partners is possible.
