The United Nations Security Council on Thursday referred to its remarks for the Pacific settlement of disputes, and urged the UN Secretary -General to continue to use arbitration to help resume coverage, working in close coordination with the organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The President’s statement, which was unanimously advised, was read by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who chaired the second council meeting in Pakistan’s signature program.
The statement states:
“Security Council recalls the purpose and value of the United Nations Charter, and confirms its primary responsibilities under maintenance and security and charter for this security. The council reiterated that cooperation between the United Nations and the regional and sub -organizations and the United Nations system, can improve collective security.
“The Security Council recalls its previous relevant proposals and statues of its press, which outlines the importance of developing the effective partnership betrier organizations according to the United Nations’ charter and the relevant statues of the regional and sub -organizations.
“The Secretary Council expresses its application for the briefing of MRA, Assistant General Secretary of the United Nations, Mr. Khalid Khiyari, and Assistant General Secretary of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
“Security Council focuses on the United Nations System organizations and agencies and the organization of Islamic cooperation and its assistant organs and the 16th biennial general meeting of the special and affiliated institutions, which is from 22 to 24 July 2024 to review and evaluate the level of cooperation between two organizations.
“The Secretary Council noted that the United Nations and the regional and sub -organizations, the organization of Islamic cooperation serve in promoting and facilitating the resolution of work for this work. In line with the United Nations Charter and the relevant resolutions of the Security Council.
“The Secretary Council, especially in the chapter VI, confirms its commitment to the Pacific settlement of demonstrations, in line with the United Nations charter.
The Security Council notes the interest of using the existing and potential capabilities of the organization of Ishalic cooperation in this regard, attaching its countries to resolve its countries peacefully through dialogue, reconciliation, consultation, conversation, good offices, mediation, and judicial disposal of demonstrations.
“The secretary fulfills the important role of the General Secretary’s good offices and encourages the secret-general to continue to use it often as a postin to help solve. Peacefully, work in close coordination with the organization of Islamic cooperation in that regard, as apppropiet.
