These meetings reiterated strong strategic relations between Pakistan and China.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, Field Marshal Asim Munir met Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
These meetings discussed the need for coordinating schemes under the Economic Corridor (C -PAC), changing the political scenario in the region and globally, and the need for coordinated efforts to deal with joint geographical and political challenges.
Both sides expressed satisfaction at the depth of bilateral relations and confirmed their commitment to sovereignty, multilateral cooperation and permanent regional stability.
The Chinese leadership praised the Pakistani armed forces as a strong base for peace in South Asia and their role.
At the military level, Field Marshal Asim Munir met with the head of the Central Military Commission Deputy Chairman, General Zhang Yoshia, the Chinese Army’s political acting general and the head of Staff Lt. General Kai Zai.
On arriving at the Chinese Army headquarters, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was presented a long -suited relationship between two armed forces, a guard of honor.

Later meetings in the defense and security sector were discussed. There was a matter of counter -support cooperation, joint training, defense innovation and strong relationship between institutions.
