The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested nine handicapped gang workers in Peshawar.
According to Express News, FIA Peshawar Zone arrested 9 suspects during the bursting against the network involved in the bill and illegal currency exchange on the instructions of DGFIA Rafat Mukhtar Raja.
The suspects arrested include Mohammad Hamza Khan, Mohammad Yasin, Edullah and Danish Jamil, Mohammad, Mohammad Abrar, Zakir Ali, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Ali and Haq Nawaz.
According to the FIA, the suspects were arrested from various areas of Peshawar, Novashera, Marden and Lower Dyer, while during the raid, heavily domestic and foreign currency was recovered from the accused.
A total of Rs 34 lakh 60 thousand was recovered from the accused, while 9300 Saudi Rial, 500 UAE Dirham, 1250 Katri Rial and 750 Afghans were also recovered in foreign currency.
According to the FIA spokesperson, other evidence related to hand related to hand connected hand was also recovered.
An investigation has been initiated by the arrested suspects, during which important evidence is expected to be revealed.
