Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore region on Saturday arrested a person involved in hawala and illegal currency exchange operations.
FIA officials, accused, Muhammad Omar were arranged from Shah Alam Market, Lahore, and were found involved in illegal transactions of millions of rupees.
While conducting raids, the FIA was admitted to Rs 5.95 million, with hawala receipts and other digital evidence from the suspect. Omar has been taken into custody, and investigation is underway. Further raids are being conducted to catch other accounts included in the Ilugal network.
