Factory fire was fully controlled in Landi export processing sector, spokes

Karachi:

The situation worsened after a fire broke out in the Caphan factory in the Landi Export Processing Zone in the city of Quad, but the time of fire brigade and continuous efforts has completely controlled the fire in both affected factories.

According to Spokesperson Landihi Export Processing Zone Shehzad Khan, the fire was initially in a garment factory which was taken under control around 7 pm.

However, at eleven o’clock at night, a flame from the same affected building surrounded a nearby cardboard factory.

According to the spokesperson, the flame of fire fell on the roof of the cardboard factory. Given the seriousness of the incident, 11 fire brigade vehicles were immediately mobilized, which completely extinguished the fire after several hours of the struggle.

Shahzad Khan said that the clothing factory, which was partially demolished yesterday, is now under complete control and there is no further danger.
