Washington DC, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 25th July 2025) The Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Westinghouse Electric Company on Thursday signed a memorandum to understand the opportunities for understanding the cooperation for the deployment of Advancer Energy Energy Energy Solutions in the United States.
Signed in Washington DC, the agreement has been aligned with American priorities to make the nuclear generation quadruple by meeting the AI and technology sector, to meet the demand for increasing power. Cooperation will take advantage of Enec’s world -class expertise in large -scale nuclear development and operations and major nuclear technologies of the Westinghouse industry.
Under the MoU, companies will detect ways to accelerate the deployment of the Constitution-Taiyar AP1000® reactor, fully licensed in the US. In addition, E -Oms and Westinghouse will look at ways to collaborate in opportunities, restarting new buildings and projects in the US, starting the projects for AP1000 reactors, and will resume projects for fuel supply chains, operations and maintenance services.
Mohammad Al Hammadi, managing director and chief executive officer of Enec, said, “The world is turning to nuclear power in the form of a nes to give clear and relatively due to electroncy to meet the demand for electricity with the protecting the grid.
It is an important step to support the adventure ambitions of the United States, which is to rapidly expand its nuclear fleet, strengthening the deep and long -running energy part between the United Arab Emirates and the United States. ,
Dan Sumer, an interim CEO of Westinghouse, said, “The US has an adventure for 10 large -scale nuclear reactors under obstruction by 2030, and Westinghouse is working with industry partners to make it a reality.
In addition to running a direct economic impact of billions of dollars for the nation, the deployment of an AP1000 fleet will create thousands of good paid manufacturing, engineering and contract jobs. We believe that Enec’s expertise in mass nuclear deployment will help us achieve this objective. ,
The partnership aligns with the widespread strategy of the ENEC, which is to further the opportunities for the deployment of international nuclear power security and stability to promote international deployment of international technologies.
By sharing the expectation and insights received from the gradual salvation and operation of the Barak nuclear power plant, Enec is supporting other counties and organizations, seeking to integrate nuclear power clean energy strategies, which are accelerating nuclear power growth responsible for the increasing global power demands to increase power grids.
