The Zahra, known as the ‘grieving parachinar’, has been acquitted of alleged link allegations with the banned outfit Zainbun Brigade, but now the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has filed an appeal in the Sindh High Court.
Zahra, who belongs to Parachinar, the central region of Kuram Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was detained by FIA officials in October 2021, in which Karachi Airport was accused of connection with the Zenbun Brigade, and against them, under the Anti -Estroism Act, 11h and 11m.
However, the allegations could not be proved in the Karachi -anti -defense court and was awarded the case on 30 April 2024.
Pakistan’s internal ministry announced the Zenbun Brigade in March 2024, saying that it is evidence that the group was included in harmful activities for peace and security of the country. ,
The organization was also included in its financial blacklist by the US Treasury Department in January 2019.

Madhat Zahra’s lawyer, Abdul Haleem, who fought his case in 2021, told independent Urdu that ‘in recent years, she was located in the Pahalvan Goth area of Karachi. Nothing can be said about whether they are in Karachi or not. ,
According to advocate Abdul Haleem: ‘About six months ago, he was contacted in a legal case of bail or land and was present in Karachi at that time.’
He said: ‘In my observation, Zahra looked mentally disturbed. If a person returns after any type of training, his behavior has a certain type of extraordinary condition, and for me, there were similar symptoms. After his arrest, his passport was also taken and it is likely that he is under pressure due to equal conditions. ,
He said: ‘Madhat Zahra was a humble and foolish woman. In my view, since Zahra itself is missing for a while, the matter should be over. ,
Request against brittle
Recently, FIA Deputy Attorney General Mohammad Ahmed Qureshi has been challenged in the Sindh High Court.
Mohammad Ahmed Qureshi told independent Urdu: ‘Madhat Zahra traveled to dozens of Iran and Iraq. Regular checks were initiated against him in 2021, in which these trips were declared suspicious. ,
“According to the allegations, she was involved in the recruitment of youth for terrorist groups like Zenbun Brigade, Fatimon Division and Hizbullah and allegedly helped people like Iraq and Syria to move to the battlefield,” she said.
According to Mohammad Ahmed Qureshi: ‘He traveled to these countries despite not being employed in an institution.’
The FIA claimed that his arrival in Karachi was the same, but the allegations could not be proved in judicial proceedings.
However, Zahra’s lawyer, Abdul Haleem says that since childhood, interested in education studied with local institutions and later moved to Iran for religious education.
“During his stay in Iran, there were some unconfirmed reports about him that they got married there, but there was no authentic document or official record in this regard.”
Referring to the hearing on the appeal against Madhat Zahra’s appeal in the Sindh High Court on July 19, 2025, FIA Deputy Attorney General Mohammad Ahmed Qureshi said that the state lawyers expressed serious reservation on the matter, saying that except sensitive matters, the minor could prove to be dangerous for the state.
Due to the absence of papers, the court postponed the hearing in the second week of August.
According to the woman’s lawyer, Abdul Haleem, all FIA allegations were based on speculation. According to him: ‘Madhat’s past was clear and they are practically not associated with any extremist group.’
However, FIA’s Mohammad Ahmed Qureshi says that the court was acquitted by the court on the absence of evidence of Madhat Zahra aka ‘Xino’ and ‘Chinese’, however, in view of the background and sensitive nature of the case, the state agency considered the decision challenging the decision.
