Dhaka: Important decisions were approved in the ACC meeting chaired by Mohsin Naqvi.

The ACC gave regular membership of the council to Mongolia, Uzbekistan and the Philippines.

The annual general meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was held on July 24 in Dhaka, in which representatives of all the members of the organization participate. The meeting was chaired by ACC President and Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi.

Mohsin Naqvi thanked Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Haq for hosting Islam meeting and said for the first time in Dhaka as a historical opportunity. He appreciated BCB professional, friendly and organized hosting.

The meeting approved the financial calculation, budget and full tournament calendar audited for the financial year 2025-2026, while also announced the participation of cricket in the Asian Games in Japan in 2026, in which 10 male and 8 women teams will participate. The teams will be selected on the basis of their ranking.

The ACC regularly added Mongolia, Uzbekistan and the Philippines to the member states, which has expanded the scope of cricket to new and emerging areas.

In the meeting, all member states confirmed their commitment to promote and promote cricket in the Asian region and always agreed to prioritize the game for the game.
