Bob Independence and Stadium expansion and decoration work on the Vaga border have entered the final stages of completion, the project will be formally inaugurated on Independence Day on August 14.
Naspak Managing Director Mohammad Zargam Ishaq Khan is directly monitoring the project and visited the Vaga Seema and reviewed the construction work.
According to Nipac officials, the new -real chapter will be formally inaugurated on 14 August. Federal Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Senior Army Officer, Core Commander Lahore and DG Rangers Punjab are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony.
Under the project, which has been completed at a cost of Rs 3 billion, the seating capacity of fans has been increased from 8,000 to 24,000, a modern -day waiting lounge, VVIP green room and a media gallery have been constructed to provide world -class facilities to guests, tourists and media representatives.
In view of the historical importance of the Vagah border, a modern museum is also established here, where the history and national identity of the border will be exposed, Hilal and Star have been given a central place in the construction design of the project.
Under this scheme, Pakistan’s national flag has been transferred to a 135 -meter high place from the present place, making it the third highest national flag in the world.
Bains have been constructed for 15 offices and housing houses for ranger, energy -cell facilities have also been included in buildings under environmentally friendly measures.
The project was launched in June 2024 and is now close to the completion of rapid completion, which will not only improve security and transport, but will also promote tourism and national dignity.
In addition, a new wall has been constructed on both sides of GT Road from Vagah border to BRB Canal, which is a significant development in terms of safety and imagination.
