Sargodha, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July 2025) Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Captain (RTD), and warned that artificial shortage would not be tolerated.
He releases these directions in a meeting to review the prices and support of sugar in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rana Muhammad Abubakar, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Director Food, District Officer Industry, Yojer Director Agriculture (Extension), Sugar Mill Representatives and Tholsel deals.
DC said that the notified price of sugar, including all costs and profession, is Rs 173 per kg. “Any exception fee will result in immediate legal action, including the FIR registration and action under the Para Legal Act”, he warned.
The DC emphasized predetermined public interest and took strict action against the violations.
The meeting was informed that sufficient quantity is available in the Chinese district, and the public would not have to face any different.
