DC Murri reviews emergency measures, monsoon relief operations

Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July 2025) Deputy Commissioner Murari, Agh Zaheer Abbas Shirazi presided over a district emergency board meeting to address the ongoing monsoon challenge and relief scheme on Wednesday.

The meeting focuses on the emergency core scheme for the season, assesses damage from landslides due to heavy rains, and ensures rehabilitation and safe relay of affected residents.

The District Emergency Officer distorted relief departments and proved a detailed briefing on immediate acts.

The meeting also reviewed progress at two new rescue stations under the 2024/2025 Annual Development Program and the newly launched Air Ambulance Service of the Government of Punjab.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that compressed support for these effects is being increased by rain and landslides, in line with CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He instructed all the departments to be vigilant and equaled emergency resources in the area.

Participation included Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue, Divisional Forest Officer Murri, and representing officials of Destant and Tehsil Administration as well as highways, bilting, health, seal defense, WAPDA, SUI Gas and Departments of Amazing Management Department.
