Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) successfully concluded a fact-day-making workshop, titled “DNSSSEC Workshop” was titled “DNSSSEC Workshop”
Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News-25th July 2025), with the title “DNS Operations and DNSSSEC Workshop”, successfully concluded by the Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICANN).
The purpose of the workshop is to increase technical expertise in the telecom sector and improve the DNSSEC revolution capacity. Participation included representatives of telecom operators and key stakeholders.
In an important achievement, Pakistan’s DNSSEC Revalidation score on Apnic website has now crossed 85%, which is the highest in the region, which marks Pakistan’s birth commitment for internet security.
Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafze Ur Rehman, Hi (M), caught the closing ceremony and emphasized the PTA’s commitment to struggle on cyber flexibility. Khawar was also present in the program, Sadal Khokhar member (compliance and enforcement). Shields were presented to ICANN trainers FAAHD Batayneh and Mohammad Yazid Akanho.
