Mika Parson has not yet reached any appropriate agreement in the negotiations with Dallas Cowboy. It has been in a halt for several weeks. Team owner Jerry Jones added more drama in the situation with his comments about defensive end injuries to justify the delay in his expansion.
However, Cowboy fans are eventually reaching their limit with Jones. During the ‘opening day event’ at the training camp on Saturday, he made a speech to promote the crowd for the next season. However, instead of Jones, the fans met with slogans of ‘Pay Makah’.

Mika Parsins have been with the team since the NFL draft of 2021 was created in the first round. He has been an important part of defense in the past years. In April 2024, the Cowboys selected the fifth year option on the Parson’s Decree Agreement.
Talking to the media on Tuesday, Parson shared some updates about his deal negotiations with the team. 4 X Pro Bowler revealed that it has not made much progress, but is well aware of such situations in the last few years.
“I don’t know,” Parson replied when he was asked how close it was to sign a new deal. “We’ll see. Let’s just see how long it takes … I will not say that it is difficult to take it personally when there is a chain of permanent events over the years … I do not take it personally, I do not understand.”
In four seasons, Parson played in 63 games for Cowboys. It has recorded a total of 256 tricks, 52.5 sacks, 63 tricks for loss and 112 quarterback hit records.

After Jerry Jones’s comments about Parson on the 1st day of the training camp, Nick Wright shared two cents on the situation.
