The Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has initiated an action against the fraudsters as a representative of the courier service.
According to spokes PTA, beware of messages received by a representative of urban courier services, the authority is asked to beware of such fake messages by the public.
Curier service representatives are sought information about verification code through phone calls.
Do not share any code obtained through SMS or messaging apps as this code can be used for unauthorized access to your accounts or digital identity.
Authentic courier companies do not ask for information from users for any code for parcel delivery.
It should be noted that PTA is committed to protect users from digital fraud, the public is urging them to confirm it before implementing any message.
