Consumers put on shopkeepers Rs 2.94 meters for correct violation

The rift on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Consumer Authority Rawalpindi Dungar Punjab has imposed a fine of Rs 2.94 million on the violations.

Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July 2025) The ongoing Crackdown on the instructions of the Chairman of the President of Consumer Authority Rawalpindi Dagar Punjab has imposed a fine of 2.94 mills on vioolators of consumer rights in the last six months.

The Authority was active through the Rawalpindi district to protect consumer rights and took immediate action on all the complaints made so far on Wednesday.

He said that the Consumer Authority had punished shopkeepers on the sale of cheap and faulty goods.

Under the Punjab Consumer Act, he said, shopkeepers were requested to display the rate of goods, as well as a notice about the return or execution of a private place.

He said that the officials of the Consumer Protection Council “conduct daily inspection and then send references to the Consumer Authority. In the treasury of the Punjab government”.
