JR Motorsports driver Connor Zilisch shared an injury update after a horrible fall to Watkins Glen. The 19 -year -old driver fell as he left the Chevrolet n Β° 88 to celebrate his victory in the Nascar Xfinity series.

Zilisch was immediately seen my medical staff and the medical center on site before being transported to a local hospital for other tests, including computed tomography. The driver has since shared an update of social media revealing that he broke his collarbone.

β€œThank you all for having stretched their hand today. I am outside the hospital and I am already improving. Fortunately, the CT scans for my head are clear, I just have a broken collarbone. Thanks to all the doctors for your quick and grateful attention that it was not worse.”

Zilisch also had to race in the next series of the Nascar Cup Go Bowling at Glen later during the day with Trackhouse Racing, which would have been his fourth career in the upper series. The team, led by Justin Marks, has since confirmed that it had removed the Red Bull Chevrolet n Β° 87 from the event.

Zilisch led 60 of the 82 -round race in the 200 series mission of the XFINITY series in Watkins Glen and his victory contributed to him by leading the ranking of the series with 823 points, a seven points advance on Justin Allgaier in the second.
