CM visits PDMA EOC, reviews preparations

Peshawar, (Urdupoint / Pakistan Point News – July 23, 2025) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Wednesday visited the Emergency Operations Center (ERC) to review imagines and strategies in the current monsoon season.

Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and senior officials were also presented on this osasa.

Duuring travel, CM was damaged by PDMA authorities at the level of river flow across the province, recently damaged due to heavy rains, initial warning system status and emergency response mechanism status.

Officials said that there is a continuous monitoring of the discharge of the PDMA helpline river and initial warnings are issued.

Agents have been posted to rescue equipment and relief supply and already blocked roads have now been exclusively cleaned for two.

The CM was told that the provision has been reported to 60 deadly people due to rain-temporary incidents, which have been completely disrupted 35 houses and another 212 portli has been damaged. The compensation payment for these damage has been given to the deputy commissioners concerned.

The CM directed that the latest damage report should be collected from all the districts and any pending competition payment should be issued without delay. They emphasized strict vigilance on the flow of the river and to remove any obstruction and remove the entry that obstructs the water flow.

He also used the proposal to set up rescue substances in remote tehsils. He directed the officials to the UPMA Emergency Operations Center and Pur Grove to get modern equipment.

He also called for upgrading the initial warning system of the Irrigation Department, assuring the province government for full financial assistance for the Stranna disaster capacity.
