Multan, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2025) The Civil Society Forum has strongly picked up the power outage and the Multan Electric Power Power Company (MEPCO) to detect survey delivery, especially in the Gulgasht Subdivision of Musk Division.
In a joint statement, the President of the Forum, Dr. Irfan Ahmed Piracha, Chief Executive Officer Khwaja Zia Siddiqui, and Central Convenor Dr. Humayun Shehzad expressed depression with the performance of Mapko Mapko. He criticized the individual of senior MEPCO officers, including Executive Engineer (XEN) and Gulgasht Deputy Protecting Officer (SDO), and alleged that the complaint cell is unattained to non-functional relevant officers.
Residents of Zakaria Town, Gulshan Meher Colony, and Surounding areas are battling with hours-long outages, which caused disappointment in scorching heat. The forum slammed the Slam to the MEPCO Top Management silence and the file, which made it completely unattainable.
The Civil Society Forum has the Urdu authorities to resolve the crisis and take immediate and decisive action to restore the accountability with the utility company.
