Lahore:
Christian worship programs are going on in churches in Punjab including Punjab, in which Punjab Police has been alerted.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued instructions to the RPO and DPO to increase the security of the churches.
IG Punjab said that supervisory officers have been instructed to inspect the security arrangements of churches and important places so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
He said that additional police personnel and snipers should be deployed in sensitive churches to deal with potential threats.
Dolphin Squad, PRU and police elite teams have been entrusted with the responsibility of effective patrolling around the churches to maintain peace and peace in the area.
IG Punjab has directed police officers and men to be extremely cautious and said that bad elements should be closely monitored.
In addition, IG Punjab has directed to continue searching and sweep operations around churches, Christian population and sensitive places to prevent any illegal activity.
IG Punjab has also appealed to members of the Ulema, the Christian community and peace committees to promote Interfath Hormony and play their role in maintaining social peace.
