President Asif Ali Zardari and Chinese Ambassador Pakistan Jiang Zedong discussed bilateral relations, issues of bilateral interest and regional cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the Chinese Ambassador of the President, the President, Jiang Zadong met the President in the House where issues of bilateral relations, mutual interest and regional cooperation were discussed and the President said that Pakistan gives great importance to its relations with China.
The President said that there are major opportunities to promote trade, economy, culture and regional relations between the two countries, there is a need to work together for peace, security and prosperity in the region.
He said that China has supported Pakistan in every difficult time, the people of Pakistan are grateful for the continuous support of their brothers -in -China.
The President said that China is playing an important role in Pakistan’s social and economic development.
On this occasion, the Chinese Ambassador gave a special message of best wishes to President Xi Jinping on the upcoming birthday of the President.
