CCP pushes with inclusive advocacy in Pakistan

Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st July 2025) Pakistan (CCP) Competition Commission (CCP) continues its strong advocacy drive FY 2024-2025, which organizes a total of 37 awareness and training sessions to promote understanding and closing with the Competition Act, 2010.

These sessions targeted a wide bookie of business, legal professionals, academics, government officials and stakeholders involving professional bodies, said a relay issue on Monday.

The outreach of the Commission focused on major areas such as misleading marketing, cartolization, misuse of dominance, and to add emerging challenges in retail and e-commerce.

The CCP Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), and Chenstore Association of Pakistan (CAP) collaborates with leading trade and trade bodies to raise awareness among businesses.

To engage the legal and corporate sectors, CCP participated with Islamabad Height Count Bar Association (IHCBA) and Punjab Bar Council (PBCs), such as the Institute of Cauceted Countents of Pakistan (ICAP), Institute of Business Administration (IBA), and Bar Association.

Through the training programs of directors, corporate officials were educated on completion of competition and good governance, while lawyers received advanced training on legal framework and enforcement mechanisms.

In Academia, the Commission presented sessions in major institutions including GC University Lahore, Bahria University, Peshawar University, University, University, and International Islamic University University Islamabad, which offer students and faculties to the core teenagers of competition law through real -life case study and interactive discussions.
