New York – Captain of Yankees Aaron Judge, his teammates and the New York fans base expired on Saturday when the double MVP of AL learned that he had flexor pressure in his right elbow, but no acute damage to his ulnar collateral ligament that could cause long -term laying.
The judge was sent for an MRI on Saturday and missed his second game this season, a 9-4 Defeat against Philadelphia. He had an injection of plasma rich in platelets and will go to the injured list but hopes to return to the action in 10 days to two weeks, initially as a designated striker.
“You never want to go to the tube. It’s never fun. You don’t know what’s going to arise,” said the judge. “This is why I have somehow rejected a lot of this imagery and things like that because if I don’t do what’s going on, it can’t hurt you, I guess.”
The judge leads the major leagues with an average of the stick of .342 and 1,160 ops. He has 37 circuits and 85 points produced for a New York team which opened a lead of seven Al East games at the end of May, but dropped a summit of season 6 1/2 games from first place in Toronto on Saturday.
“Overall, we have had good news today,” said Yankees manager Aaron Boone. “I think we all feared the worst.”
Knowing how difficult the judge is, Boone had been worried. The judge told Boone to launch difficulties 12-5 defeat against Philadelphia.
“I couldn’t go beyond 60 feet,” said the judge. “We will face a team of phillies, they can hit the ball on the park. I just didn’t want to put our launchers in danger, but I can’t come and play a game for them.”
Boone received the scan results just before the start of the match on Saturday when team officials obtained more evaluation. Because the pain had an impact on his jet but not hit, the judge fought by going to the IL.
“With this tension, so if you go there and play with you, you put the UCL in Jeopardy, so we were able to cure this,” said Boone.
Boone said that it was too early to determine if the much appreciated prospect Spencer Jones would be raised from Triple-A Scrancan / Wilkes-Barre.
The judge will probably not launch for 10 to 14 days, then will need a few days to strengthen the strength of the arm before returning to the outside field.
“I was really reluctant to do an IL or something like that,” said the judge. “I said to myself,” If I can hit, let me hit, “he said. “I’m going to start dhing, I think, once this 10th day.”
Giancarlo Stanton, the main DH of the team, will start working in the outside next week to help replace the judge.
“It is never a relief knowing that it will be absent at all, but for what it is, I suppose you could say the best cases,” said Stanton.
The judge said he had first felt the pain in the sixth round of the Tuesday match in Toronto, when George Springer succeeded in the sixth round of Jonathan Láisiga. The judge made a strong reference to the house to try to prevent the liaison race, but Davis Schneider has just beat the tag of the Austin Wells recipient.
A round later, the judge grimacted after catching the fly of the seventh round of Alejandro Kirk in the corner of the right field and launched to the second Jazz Chisholm Jr. base player when Dante Bichette scored and went from the second to the third. The judge was seen by a network camera yes tightening his right hand in a fist.
“It’s about as hard as they come and for him to even show vulnerability or pain or something else,” said Boone. “I knew we probably had a problem. And so at any time, you can fear the worst with it, but that is why you are waiting to react, however.
