US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand had immediately agreed to meet for a ceasefire talks.
Donald Trump has written on his social media platform Truth Social that ‘has spoken to the Prime Minister of Cambodia only to stop the war with Thailand’.
Trump is currently on a trip to Scotland.
After a while in another post, he said: ‘Now talk to Thailand’s acting Prime Minister, and it was a very good conversation.’
He said, ‘Thailand, like Cambodia, wants immediate ceasefire and peace.
‘Now I am going to tell this message to the Prime Minister of Cambodia again. After talking to parties, ceasefire, peace and prosperity seem to be a natural result. Soon we will see. ,

The US President said: ‘I am trying to simplify the complex situation. Many people are being killed in this war, but it reminds me of the war between India and Pakistan, which has been successfully stopped. ,
Trump also indicated that as long as the battle is going on, it would not carry forward trade agreements with both countries.
The recent increase in tension between Thailand and Cambodia has been a long -controversial place, after which the fight spread to the rural border of both countries.
