British High Commissioner Prime Minister, Pakistan -UK relations discuss relations

British High Commissioner Jane Marriott today met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and discussed Pak -F.

According to Express News, during the meeting, the Prime Minister greeted King Charles swimming and Prime Minister Kerry Stmper and said that he was waiting for his meeting with the UK leadership later this year.

He welcomed the recent decision of the British government to restore PIA flights. The Prime Minister said that this positive development will help in solving the difficulties faced by the British Pakistani community and also enhances the exchange of exchange between people. He particularly appreciated the positive role of the High Commissioner in this regard.

Expressing satisfaction over the positive pace of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UK, the Prime Minister said that the recent trade talks between the two countries would be mutually beneficial for both sides.

He said that Pakistan is also cooperating with the UK in the United Nations Security Council, which is currently headed by Pakistan.

The meeting also discussed the regional situation in South Asia and the Middle East. The Prime Minister praised Britain’s role in reducing Pak -India tension, reiterating that Pakistan is ready for meaningful dialogue on all settlement issues with India.

The British High Commissioner told the Prime Minister about his recent visit to London, where he consulted to increase relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

The British High Commissioner praised the government’s economic performance in the last one and a half years under the Prime Minister’s vision and leadership, which significantly improved all major macroeconomic indicators.

During the meeting, the British High Commissioner spoke with the Prime Minister about Britain’s approach to regional progress in South Asia and Middle East.
