Charlamagne that God asked on Tuesday why “nobody” in the media focuses on the relationship of former president Bill Clinton with the decreased financier and the sexual offender condemned Jeffrey Epstein.

Nowsweek contacted Clinton’s office to comment by e-mail.

Why it matters

Clinton is one of the many high -level people whose name has appeared in the court documents linked to Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019. The former president was not accused of a crime in connection with Epstein and being appointed in the documents does not imply a criminal activity.

The Epstein case has been a hot topic in Washington for weeks since the Ministry of Justice has published a memo concluding that the financier died by suicide in his cell in Manhattan prison and that the government is not in possession of an “incriminating” list of its customers.

The memo has upset a number of people who had sought to reveal such a list, including a certain number of conspiracy theorists – many of whom were amplified by the Trump administration, the DOJ and the FBI officials – who suggested that Epstein was killed as part of government coverage.

What to know

Charlamagne, a postronality of the well -known popular media, referred to Clinton’s ties to Epstein during the Tuesday episode of the radio program “The Breakfast Club”.

“It’s just funny how the news works,” said Charlamagne. “Because Bill Clinton also wrote a letter to Jeffrey Epstein for his birthday – but no one is talking about it.”

The rapper referred to a Wall Street Journal Report last week who said that Clinton was one of the many remarkable and rich people who wrote a note for Epstein for his 50th anniversary in 2003.

The report came a week after President Donald Trump faced a public examination following a Wsj Note that he also wrote a letter to Epstein for the 50th anniversary of the financier. The president has faced the pressure of a number of voters in his base and other Republican politicians to disclose more information relating to the Epstein case.

According to the NewspaperClinton’s note in Epstein was written in the distinctive “scrawl” of the former president.

“It’s reassuring, isn’t it, to have lasted so long, during all years of learning and knowledge, adventures and [illegible word]And also to have your childish curiosity, the desire to make the difference and the comfort of friends, “said the note, according to the report.

A spokesperson for the former president refused to comment on the birthday message to Newspaper And referred to the release to a previous statement saying that Clinton had cut the links with Epstein more than a decade before his stop and was not aware of his crimes.

In May 2016, one of the alleged victims of Epstein, Johanna Sjberg, was questioned on Clinton in a deposition. Sjberg said she was in the Epstein circle from 2001 to 2006.

“”[Epstein] said Clinton once young, referring to the girls, “said Sjberg during the deposit.

Charlamagne continued to discuss Clinton and Epstein on Tuesday, saying: “Jeffrey Epstein had a photo of Bill Clinton in a dress, in high heels, you know, in his New York manor, but no one talks about it.”

The rapper referred to a clinton painting in a blue dress that Epstein had in his house in New York, which was reported for the first time by the Daily mail And later by the New York Magazine.

Charlamagne said that the conversation should be everyone on the list.

“My thing is this, I don’t care who is on the list. Everyone has to go,” said Charlamagne. “Burn everything. It’s as simple as that. Mutually assured destruction. Anyone who is on this list must do. No one needs to protect pedophiles. I don’t care.”

Co-host Morgyn Wood pushed back and said that if Clinton was president, he would be confronted at the same level of control as Trump.

“No, he wouldn’t do it because the liberal media would not push the problem,” said Charlamagne.

THE Newspaper reported that Trump’s note included a typed text surrounded by the outline of a naked woman, with Trump’s signature under the size of the woman, who seemed to imitate pubic hair.

“Happy birthday – and that every day is another wonderful secret,” concluded the note, according to the Newspaper. Trump denied the NewspaperThe reports, calling for its “false” history, then continued the newspaper and its owner, the Magnat of the Conservative Media Rupert Murdoch, for $ 10 billion.

The newspaper said that Trump and Clinton’s notes were part of a mine of birthday letters that the partner and former longtime girlfriend of Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, compiled in an album linked to the leather she gave to Epstein as a gift for her 50th anniversary.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20 -year prison sentence after being found guilty of sex trafficking and other crimes related to his relationship with Epstein. She calls on the sentence to the Supreme Court and met twice last week with the deputy prosecutor Todd Blanche as part of the Epstein case, who, according to legal experts, was very unusual for the MJ to accept.

What people say

Trump was asked several times about his interactions with Epstein on a trip abroad this week and said that he had launched the Disgrace sex offender from Mar-A-Lago because Epstein had poached his employees: “People were out of the spa, hired by Epstein … I told him that we did not want you to take our people, whether it was a spa or not. He did it again, I said from here.”

Clinton’s office said in a statement in July 2019, less than a month before Epstein’s death in his prison cell: “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes of which Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida a few years ago, or those with whom he was recently accused in New York. And his details on the secret services have traveled each leg of each trip.”

His office said to Newspaper In response to his story on Clinton’s birthday letter to Epstein: “It has been 20 years since President Clinton was in contact with Epstein, long before one of his crimes was revealed.

What happens next

Maxwell has recently been assigned to testify to the Government Surveillance Committee and Reformation, which her lawyer said she would make immunity. The panel quickly denied Maxwell’s request and it remains to be seen how his team will react.

Trump, on the other hand, has repeatedly castigated the media for asking questions about his links with Epstein, saying that the public should leave history.
