Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also approved the formation of a modern and world -class digital ecosystem in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and directed to appoint internationally famous experts to complete the project.
The Prime Minister said that due to the ongoing reforms of FBR, the economy is moving in a positive direction. He said that it is not only enough to digit the system, but also creates a complete digital ecosystem so that the system can coordinate with effective, transparent and modern needs.
The Prime Minister emphasized that raw material construction, import, all stages of product manufacturing and at the end the consumer should be connected to an integrated digital system.
He said that this system should be strong and confident to the extent that digital monitoring of China’s entire value may be possible in real time.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the central data collected under this system should be used at the national level in the economic policy -construction and strategic decision.
He said that the goal of increasing tax net and creating informal economy documentary cannot be achieved for the common man.
These important decisions were made in a high level review meeting on FBR reforms headed by the Prime Minister.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister of State for Revenue, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Chairman FBR, Chief Coordinator Musharraf Zaidi, economist and senior officials concerned.
The meeting was given a detailed briefing and price on FBR data associated with a central system on the modern Eco system of China’s real -time digital monitoring.
