The manner in which the issue of Balochistan has been sought for decades has been neglected and wrongly made the situation more complex and important.
It is important to solve the previous years of mistakes through an integrated national effort. The government can solve problems and other political leadership support, but the problem is that the current federal and provincial governments and assemblies do not meet the terms of basic democratic needs, ie fair and transparent votes of the public.
This is why these governments do not have public support which needs to solve sensitive and complex problems like Balochistan. They need to help installation to fill this difference, which has repeatedly proved that it is not able to handle the issue properly. Solving social, political and economic problems is the job of defense agencies and does not require use of force.
At this time, there is a need to heal on the wounds of Balochistan. These wounds have to be cured by themselves and strangers. Historically, through the Khan of Kalat, Balochistan decided to be associated with Pakistan after independence. The decision was taken under the prescribed formula for the then partition of India in which states were given the right to join India or Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that India forcibly captured Hyderabad and Junagadh for violation of this formula and after the possession of Kashmir, the murders continue even today. The historical position of Balochistan is clear in every case … whether it is ancient relationship with Afghanistan, freedom from British rule or a state agreement with the coastal region of Oman. The real problems of Balochistan are the rights of the residents of the place… Baloch, Pashtun, Hazara, minorities and people living from other provinces – all are affected to some extent.
After the establishment of Pakistan, other provinces and refugees coming from India played an important role in the development of Balochistan. The people of Balochistan regret that in the 1970s, due to differences between federal and provincial governments, a large number of refugees had to leave the province, causing the education system to be severely affected and the province was lagging behind in the preparation of a specialist manpower.
Even today, skilled and laborers of other provinces are demonstrating important services, their safety and welfare are necessary not only on human basis but also for the development of Balochistan. In Balochistan, plans need to be made so that local youth can become international quality manpower. Now we have to focus on the future beyond the past. The solution will have to go to the solution so that Balochistan becomes a peaceful and rich region. Apart from taking full advantage of its natural resources, we have to understand that real wealth is human. Human resource development is a guarantee of sustainable development and prosperity of Balochistan and Pakistan. The youth of Balochistan will have to give a bright future so that no one can see back to the mountains again.
Balochistan’s biggest problem is qualification. Legislative assemblies are chosen on merit and there is no qualification system in jobs and educational institutions. The Sardar system is preventing the talented youth of the province from moving forward. People need to get rid of this slavery. The common man also cannot imagine contesting elections against the heads.
The heads have the power of real governance and decisions. Jobs and educational opportunities are also available for major and influential classes in administration and other institutions. The same system works in business and contracts, even illegal acts such as smuggling are promoted based on these relationships.
This alliance of heads and government agencies has brought Balochistan to the verge of destruction. This qualification is the root of public and private sector failure. Whatever money comes through Federal or NFC Award is lost. For example, a plan for 100 dams, which was flooded before completion.
Many problems can be eliminated automatically by giving young fair opportunities of Balochistan for education, employment and business opportunities. The youth of Balochistan are disappointed and this frustration makes external propagation successful, which aims to build a separatist mentality. We should first look at our mistakes. Some examples will make it clear what is happening to the common man of Balochistan. Gwadar is the center of the pack, but the local population is deprived of the government’s attention.
Poor fishermen are fed up with illegal nets which are eliminating marine biology. The movement of essential commodities from the Iranian border is stopped by the common people, while the smugglers are working independently. The same is the same with Chaman Seema. Balochistan lags behind in terms of progress. Through Cipac, Balochistan’s roads, industries and skills failed to bring China’s projects to Balochistan, nor did we prepare the youth of Balochistan for C -Peak Scholarship. This is why projects are living or delaying. If the industrial sector was centered, employment and economy would have improved.
It is important to recognize the constitutional rights of Balochistan. The valid struggle for these rights is similar to broadcasting the rebellion. There will be nothing due to collective punishment and “collateral damage”. Forcibly disappearance and additional murders are destroying the peace of Balochistan.
Balochistan has another constitutional correct gas supply. Under Article 158 of the Constitution, this right is reserved. The truth is that gas was discovered from the needle of Balochistan in 1950, but till date most areas of Balochistan have not been found. This industrial development is also not developing. People of hard weather areas such as Jhob, Ziarat and Kalat are forced to cut precious forests due to lack of gas.
The Jamaat -E -Illismy is firm to take Balochistan on the path of peace and development. We are organizing a long march from Quetta to Islamabad to bring Baluchistan to other provinces on 25 July 2025. We are in touch with national and provincial leadership to establish a road map of peace. We will also start some practical projects by adding all the stakeholders. One of them is the “Bollywood” program, which we are expanding in Baluchistan to provide its skills to the youth and provide them better jobs.
