In this blog, Acara solutions helps job seekers to understand why they can consider new career opportunities, how to increase their resumes, and more.
- What are some reasons in search of new jobs?
Job Hoping – When a person works at one place for only one or two years and then decides to move forward – it has become too common in recent years. Once, today’s tight labor market means that experienced workers are more valuable – and they know it. So they are free to shop for their services to see if they can get more or do more, and so on. People abandon their jobs for increased compensation, flexible work options (hybrid or remote), better work-life balance, professional development opportunities, a positive company culture, stability, safety or better benefit.

- How can job seekers be seen by recruiters or managers hiring?
LinkedIn is a powerful tool for job seekers, so you know the stage better, you will do equally better in the job market. I am always attracted to well -linked profiles:
- I want to see the candidate of a job – see a clean, clear, professional headshot as their linkedIn photo.
- I then seek a person’s performance interest in the job for whom they are applying – so their linkedIn posts, groups and interests should reflect the situation they are applying. If the job seekers are not active in their field, it is a turnoff, and I will walk together.
- Your dates of employment should be operational and reflect your resumption.
- If you are not actively looking for a new situation, turn off the open-to-work feature. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to reach the candidate “open to work” which never responds.
- If you are not interested in the situation, answer the recruiter or look at someone who can be a good fit.

- What is the best answer to “tell me about yourself”?
Job seekers need to understand that this question really asks, “How do you interested in this role, why do you want it, and what have you done worth it?” The best answer will mention past experiences and perfect success and expose your personality. Transferable skills – ensure or share portable skills – which you have achieved through a pre -career, education, hobby, or volunteer work that is “transfer” for the role you are interviewing.

- Tell us the three things you start again and why.
My favorite element of a good resume is that it is brief, easy to read, and is relevant to the situation you are applying. To be clear, your resume should be more than only one page if you have been in the workforce for 10 or 12 years. Your resume should be tight, and when you bullet your words, you make it easy to read, which is helpful. Finally, I always like to see measurements that demonstrate success. So if you say that you are a social media manager, then tell me how you have increased the social number.

- What general advice will you give to job seekers in 2023?
Currently, there are about twice the job opening as unemployed people, with the lowest unemployment rate in more than 50 years. But on average, it takes three months to find a new job right now. Do your homework. prepare. Breathe easy. be yourself. Highlight your achievements and make sure your resume professional summary reflects the position you are applying. Go online and check useful resources for job seekers, use technology for your benefit, develop your professional network, and ask for referrals.
