Washington:
The United States confirmed Pakistan’s positive role in world peace and once again accepted permanent sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and worked together to promote bilateral relations and create strong and organized relations in various fields.
According to Express News, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held an important meeting with American counterpart Marco Rubio at Washington DC, where American officials were welcomed by US officials on the arrival of the US State Department (State Department).
Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh was also with the Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation level meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.
This is the first issue between Pakistan and American Foreign Ministers, in the first telephonic link between the two leaders, the meeting was discussed in detail in various departments and possible cooperation in various departments.
The meeting discussed bilateral trade and cooperation in economic relations, investment, agriculture, technology, minerals, major sectors, and also discussed counter -iris and regional peace.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar paid tribute to the efforts of US President Donald Trump and US leadership to promote international peace.
Ishaq Dar said that President Trump’s role and recent Pak-India stress are admirable.
US State Secretary Marco Rubio accepted Pakistan’s everlasting sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and said that Pakistan has always played a positive role in global and regional peace.
Ishaq Dar said that Pak-U is demanding more expansion and stability in bilateral relations regarding positive progress in the ongoing trade dialogue between the two countries.
He said that Pakistan is an attractive destination for the American trade community and investors. Both countries are in line with the ideas and interests of regional peace.
He said that the Pakistani community in the United States is playing a bridge between the two countries.
On the occasion, the two leaders confirmed their commitment to work together to promote bilateral relations and create strong and systematic relations in various departments.
