Pakistan produces more than 200 types of mangoes, out of which about 20 are commercially grown for exports. These include Chunsa, Jushusi, Langra, Anwar Ratol, Sindhri, Fajri and Desi Mango.

An expert in the crop production of the area, Dr. Nabil, explain each type of characteristics. The gambling mango is tall, with a thin skin that sticks to the pulp. Indri is large, with a smooth yellow peel and rich flash. Langra has a thin thin peel and comes in different sizes. Anwar Ratol is a medium size, fiberless, and is known for the sweetness and aroma of its intentions, with a green-yellow-yellow peel.

BZU University Professor Dr. Nazim Labbar said that in all mango varieties, Chunasa Crown Jewels remain. Its slightly thick skin, syrup texture, and deep fragrant makes it one of the most experts in Pakistan.

In recent years, Pakistani mangoes have made their way to the new international markets beyond the Middle East. These include Europe, United States, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Netherlands and Malaysia. Earlier, mango exports were the most limited to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with an annual volume of 60,000 to 70,000 MT.

Although mangoes were born in counties such as Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, Brazil, United States and West India, Pakistani mangoes, standing out for their taste, health benefits and vibrant appearance with those Multan.

Many companies are storing mango pulps for the use of off-season in juices and other commercial products. The annual common festival, especially in Multan, helps promote Pakistani mangoes globally and attract foreign investment.
