Foreign Office spokesman Shafkat Ali Khan has said that during the recent visit to Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Afghanistan, the Afghan counterpart discussed expansion issues related to security and counter -protests and the issue of extradition of TTP and other terrorists was also discussed.

The Foreign Office spokesman said during a weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, “The Afghan leadership has shown a positive attitude towards Pakistani concerns with technical talks on security between the two countries.”

Talking about relations with India, Shafkat Ali Khan said, “Pakistan believes in peaceful diplomacy. The resolution of all disputes is possible through negotiations. The spokesperson said that “Pakistan has invited India for serious dialogue, it is possible only through regional stability and global peace diplomacy.”

He further stated that under the chairmanship of Pakistan, the Security Council unanimously approved the proposal 2788, which called for measures under the United Nations Charter for peaceful resolution of struggle.

“The Foreign Minister condemned attacks on hospitals and schools in Palestinian areas and called on the ceasefire, access to assistance and two state solutions in Gaza.”

The spokesperson said that Pakistan and the United Kingdom interacted on the non -proliferation of weapons and nuclear power, while Pakistan strongly condemned the Israeli bombing and attacks on Syria and demanded an immediate ceasefire on the humanitarian crisis in Palisin.

“The only sovereign Palestinian state is a reasonable solution for Palestine,” he said.
