Acquisition Sabhashu Shukla returned to Earth from ISS

New Delhi, (UNI): India’s first astronaut Shabat Shakla, who goes to the International Space Station (ISS), returned to the ground safely on Tuesday along with three other colleagues of the AX-4 mission.

SpaceX’s dragon spacecraft landed at the sea at 3 pm. Group Captain Shukla and his fellow astronauts spent 18 days on ISS. Meanwhile, he has conducted several scientific investigation.

The spacecraft carrying four astronauts went from the International Space Station at 4:35 pm on Monday. After more than twenty hours, the spacecraft landed into the sea near the California coast in the United States.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Shabbat Shukla for this success. He called it an important milestone for the country’s first human space mission Gagan Yan.
Shukla, the first Indian astronaut to travel to ISS, joined the mission as a pilot. There he conducted several research missions with his colleagues, including the mission developed by ISRO.

Shabinashu Shukla has been a test pilot in the Indian Air Force and is one of the potentially chosen employees for the country’s first human space mission ‘Gagan Yan’. He has become the only member of employees who now have space travel experience.

The AX-4 mission was launched on 25 June and reached ISS on 26 June.
Group captain Shabashu Shukla is the second Indian astronaut to go into space after 41 years of Mr. Rakesh Sharma and the first Indian astronaut to live on ISS. Earlier, Indian -American citizens Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams have also visited ISS in NASA’s mission.
