Dhaka:
The Asian Cricket Council confirms men and women to join the Asian Games for cricket for cricket next year in Japan.
Cricket has previously been involved in the Asian Games, but this time it has been declared regularly from the ACC platform.
In a meeting chaired by Mohsin Naqvi in Dhaka, it was decided that 8 women cricket teams with 10 men at the Asian Games would have an opportunity to express their skills, these teams would be selected on the basis of ranking.
The meeting also approved the appointment of Mongolia, Uzbekistan and the Philippines as a new ACC member.
Remember that after the ICC approval, women’s cricket is also included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
