The express tribune reports that all the all -rounders of the 26 -year have not yet recovered from the shoulder injury, he underwent surgery in the UK earlier this month.

This is the same injury that led to a recent T20 series against Bangladesh and West Indies.

A total of eight teams are participating in the event, divided into two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, Oman and UAE, while Group B consists of teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

The initial match of the Asia Cup will be held on 9 September between Afghanistan and Hong Kong, while the final will be played on 28 September. If both Pakistan and India reached the Super Four Stage, the second match between them is expected to be held on 21 September.

No official statement has been issued by PCB on Shadab Khan’s rehabilitation program.
