A man was arrested and accused of murder after a woman was found dead while the police followed an appeal to 911 which was hung up in the middle of a request for help.
The incident occurred in the canton of Shelby, Michigan, Saturday morning around 6:46 am, when the police service of the canton of Shelby received a call at the 911 of an apartment located on the Bloc 46000 of Boardman when a man called the emergency services for help and then immediately hung the phone, according to a press release from the Canton of Shelby.
The police were then sent to the apartment to verify the well-being of the occupants in the apartment, the police said.
“Upon their arrival, police officers were welcomed at the door by Terrance Lamar Bowie, a 29 -year -old man from Casco, Michigan,” said the authorities. “Bowie made statements to the officers indicating that there was a corpse inside the apartment.”
The police then located a 27 -year -old died woman in a room but have not yet identified her publicly.
“The evidence collected on the scene indicates that it was a homicide, and the suspect, Terrance Lamar Bowie, was put in arrest,” the police said.

The authorities confirmed that this “was not an act of random violence because the victim and Bowie were both known.”
Bowie was arrested Tuesday before the district court and accused of second degree and falsification of the premises. His deposit was set at $ 2 million by judge Stephen Sierawski.
