A homemade soft cat addresses the recipe

Our family gives priority to full healthy foods, so why not do the same for our pets? For my children, pets are really part of the family. Their idea was to make a homemade dog treat your dog. Now they wanted to make homemade cats for our cats, benilop and the tiger as well (“to be fair”).

Like the dog’s treatments that we made for a diese, these homemade foods contain healthy cats. It is easy to make and store it well in the refrigerator. Our cats do not seem to mind if we do not heat up before giving them.

These foods are part of the care of natural cats and the comprehensive alternatives that we use to maintain the health of our individual friends. Just remember that these are treatments although they are not intended to be an alternative to the meal.

Treat homemade cat: What you need

There are many ways you can make this recipe. I would like to hear how to adapt to your pets in the comments. This is what we used and why:

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a specific essential element in our home, for both humans and pets. For cats, it is a great source of healthy fats, especially medium sebaceous fatty acids that support digestion and healthy skin. I use it in these homemade foods because coconut oil has anti -bacterial and anti -fungal properties.

Cats are naturally eating animals, so their systems are designed for fat -based energy. Coconut oil is a nutritional addition that mimics the natural fat that they will get from the prey to the wild.

Coconut

Coconut flour is one of the grain -free alternatives when I bake the family. So it was logical to use a little in our cat treatments as well. It is high in fiber, gentle digestion, and everything helps to stick to it without using pills. In addition, it mixes well with coconut oil and eggs, which creates a smooth texture of our cat’s love.

Sweet potatoes cooked

While cats do not need carbohydrates, sweet potatoes add some additional nutrients, especially vitamin A and fiber. It also gives a soft and easy -to -digestion for treatments. I found that when used in moderation, it can be a great way to add a soft diversity and texture.

Gelatin powder

I use gelatin in many homemade recipes, from herbs of herbs from the bread to gum. It turns out to be great for pets as well. Gelatin is rich in amino acids such as glycine and bullin, which supports healthy skin, fur and healthy joints. I like to use gelatin that feeds on the grass to keep it suitable for the budget, but any clean gelatin will work. It also helps in connecting processors and gives them a rubber fabric that our cats enjoy.

Tuna (or sardines)

When you are in doubt, tuna is always success! Most cats cannot resist them. Breast fish like tuna or sardines are not only rich in protein, but they are full of omega -3 fatty acids that support brain, skin and coat. In our house, sardines are favorite. She is small, and she has less mercury, full of nutrients.

egg

Eggs are a full protein source, full of healthy fats and fat -soluble vitamins. I use it in homemade pet processing recipes as it helps everything to stick to with the addition of a large diet. If your cat is tolerated with eggs well, it is a simple way with reasonable prices to add some additional nutrition.

I bake this on the baking sheet with a natural university certificate paper to avoid adhesion. They store well in a glass jar in the refrigerator.

  • Peel, cube, and cook the sweet potatoes until they become soft.

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

  • Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl. Use a fork to calm everything together until it is mixed evenly and until all the large pieces of fish and sweet potatoes are defeated.

  • Add a little additional coconut flour if necessary to get almost a paste of the gameplay.

  • Roll in 1 inch balls and hormonal with a fork to form a little “cookies”. I used my fingers to some to make a claw print shape.

  • Bake for 20 minutes or until light brown.

  • Raise the heat and let it cool completely.

Cat food quality

I asked many of you about the cat we use. I have tried different brands over the years until I tried our making. In the end, I prefer to leave this in the hands of experts. We are now alternating between a variety of grain -free cat foods (wet, never dry).
