According to Kamal Shah, media coordinator of the Pakistan Fisher Focus Forum, there were six fishermen on the boat. Five of them died.

Mehran Ali Shah, president of the Pakistan Fisher Focus Forum, told the media that the fisherman is a section that catches children in the sea. But when they cannot go, hunger, poverty and lack become their destiny.

Sindh fishermen paid 24 billion rupees every year. The government should provide rescue centers and motion boats in the sea to save the lives of fishermen to prevent such life -related accidents.

He also appealed to fishermen cooperative society and concerned agencies for immediate financial assistance to the affected families.
