A cop or a criminal? The police stop the motorcyclist with a uniform, a badge and a firearm and learn that he is a condemned criminal

At first glance, according to the police, his uniform and his motorcycle had all the external signs of the local police.

The motorcycle had emergency lights and “traffic” and “public security” sporting the side, depending on the images. Its uniform included a tactical vest, a pepper spray, a badge and a pistol.

But in reality, according to the Hemet police, the man was a condemned criminal imitating the local police.

According to an article on Facebook on Tuesday, Hemet police said they had arrested a motorcyclist who turned out to be a condemned criminal would have usurped the identity of a police officer. He also seemed to have a Glock -style handgun on his service belt.

The man, identified as Marshal Goodnight, 73, was armed with two paralyzing pistols, an extensible baton, handcuffs and pepper gas, said the department. Goodnight wore a tactical vest, olive pants and beige shirt, with a badge and what seemed to be a camera and radio equipment.

The police said that they stopped on Monday evening after having seen him commit several violations of the vehicle code and activate emergency lights on his motorcycle.

Goodnight was detained and the Hemet police determined that his paralyzing cannons were working. Goodnight is a condemned criminal who is not legally authorized to have firearms or related weapons, police said. Nor is it authorized to ensure security in the state of California.

The police arrested and reserved Goodnight for several heads of crime: suspicion of being a criminal in possession of a paralyzing pistol; possession of a stick; be a criminal in possession of a tear gas weapon; And for having usurped the identity of a peace agent.
