President Trump announced on Monday an important tightening of his Deadline for the Vladimir Putin of Russia to accept a cease-fire with Ukraine. He said he met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his visit to Scotland that the 50-day deadline he announced earlier this month would be reduced to less than two weeks, citing a lack of progress in negotiations.

Trump said that by meeting his meeting with Starmer that he was “very disappointed” by the chief of Russia on the current bombing of Ukrainian cities, and that the deadline he gave a few weeks ago to accept a truce would be reduced.

Trump said earlier this month that if Russia had not accepted a cease-fire within 50 days, the United States would impose secondary prices up to 100% on goods sold by countries that continue to do business with Russia. This would have indicated an agreed agreement towards the end of August.

But Trump told journalists on Monday, while he was sitting with Starmer, that he “was going to make a new deadline of around 10 or 12 days from today”.

“There is no reason to wait,” said Trump. “We simply see no progress made.”

“I spoke a lot to President Putin, I have it very well with him,” said Mr. Trump earlier, before sitting with Starmer.

But he deplored that the Russian chief, “leaves and begins to throw rockets in a city, like kyiv, and kills many people in a nursing home or other, you have bodies that are in the whole street.”

Mr. Trump said he was “very disappointed with Putin”, adding: “I will reduce the 50 days that I gave him to a lesser number, because I think I already know the answer which will happen.”

Russia rejected the deadline When the White House announced it for the first time, the appellant “unacceptable”.

“I am no longer so interested in speaking,” said Trump about Putin, explaining that he and Putin will have a beautiful conversation, then the next day, the Russians killed more Ukrainians.

Sitting alongside Starmer, Trump also discussed the situation in Gaza, saying that the United States will provide food from the inhabitants of Gaza and will endeavor to eliminate obstacles to humanitarian aid.

“Some of these children are, it’s real famine things,” Trump said on Monday. “I see it. And you can’t simulate this. So we’re going to be even more involved.”

Although it is apparently a private trip, marked by several golf cycles on his own luxury lessons in Scotland, Trump also did business – especially by nailing US US trade agreement.

After meeting a little over an hour with the leader of the EU Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday, Mr. Trump emerged to say: “We have good news. We have concluded an agreement.”

Considered a combined economy, the EU block is the second largest in the world behind the United States, including goods and services, US trade in the EU is worth around 2 dollars per year.

“I think it’s great that we have entered into an agreement today, instead of playing games,” Trump said about the executive trade agreement. “I think it’s the biggest matter ever concluded.”

“It’s a big problem, it’s a huge matter,” said Von Der Leyen. “It will bring stability. It will provide predictability.”

Mr. Trump’s meeting with Starmer also addresses trade, although the United States and the United Kingdom agreed on a managerial trade agreement last month. Starmer clearly said he wanted to continue to push Mr. Trump to further facilitate prices on British steel and other imports while the details of the agreement are chopped.

Trump said his meeting with Starmer would provide a chance to celebrate the US-UK agreement, as well as the new EU agreement.

Most governments of the EU member nations expressed their support for this agreement on Monday, although some of them are non -enthusiastically – and the French Prime Minister even took a blow to the block, accusing him of “submission” to Mr. Trump.

Trump said the rate rate for the 27 EU member countries would be 15% for most imports, including vehicles. The EU, on the other hand, has agreed to buy American military equipment, $ 750 billion in American energy and increase its collective investment in the United States by $ 600 billion.

There were also good news for American companies that sell products on the EU market, because Mr. Trump announced that the 27 EU nations “will be open to trade with the United States in Zero Prics”.

The agreement was concluded at the Luxury Golf Resort of Mr. Trump in Turnberry, on the Scottish coast, where the president spent the weekend to turn off.

The agreement avoids a transatlantic trade war which could have taken place on Friday, when Mr. Trump had threatened to impose a price of 30% on all the goods imported from the EU, which had committed to retaliate.

This deadline remains in place for countries that have not yet concluded an agreement with the United States, notably Mexico, Canada, and most, therefore, China. Trump said on Monday that the prices for countries that do not reach an agreement with the United States will be “somewhere in the 15% to 20%” range, which differs from the 15% to 50% range it launched last week.

Trade negotiations between Beijing and Washington took place in Stockholm on Monday, and the US Secretary of Trade Howard Lutnick said in interviews during the weekend that the deadline for August 1 for transactions to be concluded was not flexible.

“No extension, more periods of grace. On August 1, the prices are fixed. They will be set up. Customs will begin to collect money, and we leave,” said Lutnick.
