Islamabad:
There has been great progress in the construction of the infrastructure of electric vehicles, and 3,800 investors and companies have shown interest in setting up electric vehicle charging stations.
MD Nika Dr. Azam said that 30 to 35 working charging stations have contacted for registration, and the international and local compatriots have expressed interest in installing electric vehicle charging stations.
He said that the National Energy Saving and Conservation Authority has issued a license to 71 electric vehicle charging stations.
Dr. Sardar Mujam said that applications of 128 EV charging stations are in registration stages, EV charging stations and battery swing infrastructure want to set up information with local and international companies, many companies are referring to charging stations.
He said that the tariffs of electric vehicle charging stations were reduced by the government, due to reduced tariffs of charging stations, investors’ interest has increased.
MD Nika said that the license of charging stations is issued within 15 days of the completion of the documents.
