Pakistan’s women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has said that the T20 series is preparing for the series against Ireland.
Addressing a press conference held at the National Stadium, the National Women Captain said that Ireland aims to prepare for the World Cup, no team including traditional rivals India, will be smoothly in the mega event, the whole team is high, good results are expected.
She said that the series has been designed for the series, Ireland aims to prepare for the World Women’s Cup, every team in the mega event will consider a strong contestant, efforts will be made to perform well against India in the World Cup, will play beyond any pressure, the team is balanced by meeting available players.
The female captain said that the skill camp in Karachi has been useful, the weather in Karachi is very suitable, will try to remove the shortcomings in the training camp, the captaincy is difficult, but I do, if the team wins, everyone is happy, tries to do good for the team.
He said that he has tried to improve bowling, worked hard to improve his batting, practiced Ireland situations, Ireland will prove to be a good experience.
Speaking on the important and senior batsman of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, Maniba Ali said, “Good preparation to go to Ireland, we are trying to perform well with combination, we try to perform well in a big program, we have practiced both format in the skill camp, I am focused on power play.”
Pakistan’s women’s team bowling coach Junaid Khan said, “Our focus is on the World Cup, we are moving towards modern day cricket, our bowlers gave a good performance in the qualifying round, batting and bowling coach worked on Ireland situations.”
